The Density of Language

This was found in a desk that hadn't been used in decades.  Based on the other papers accompanying it, I would estimate it was typed in the mid 1950s. I think it's a fascinating example of the power of language to distort or weigh down an otherwise kind and simple act.  Of course, depending on which paragraph was placed before the other, it might be a fascinating example of language's power of levity and focus. Each is a mind set or reference point for which it's up to us to choose.

Which world are you living in?
